Bill seeks sunshine for state's legal contracts

MONTGOMERY — Alabama should disclose its contracts for legal services and limit the amount of money it pays to private attorneys, according to state Rep. Barry Mask, R-Wetumpka.
"The public needs to know how Alabama is handling its legal cases, (and) what their fees are," Mask said. "Are we overpaying? Is there a good bid selection process? Is there a scale?"
